"I was a bit worried that some placements I looked at seemed
like glorified work experience schemes. It was obvious you were
just going to be floating around the edges of the business.

What I liked about Aldi Retail Placement was the guarantee that
I was going to get my hands dirty. As well as covering the full
a to z of retailing.

Because Aldi paid well, it showed they valued the effort you
were putting in too.

It wasn’t slave labour. It was a proper wage for a proper day’s
work. And it showed me just how much hard work pays off...
so I found I was pushing myself harder to put in that extra %
while I was doing my Finals."
