The level of responsibility
that other placement schemes offered was nowhere near
the level of
responsibility that Aldi were going to offer me.
I viewed it as a year-long interview, so it was a great
opportunity for the business to get to know me and
me
to get to know them. I came away from it learning
a lot more about myself and what I was
capable
of doing in the workplace.
The most challenging part of the experience was going
into teams of people who had a lot more experience
than
I had and being asked to go in and lead those teams of
people with very little retail experience.
One thing the scheme definitely did was make me feel
like a valued member of Aldi's team. I would sum up my
experience as challenging, rewarding and inspiring."
